SQL Server Connection from a PLC

Hello,
my question relates to the connection string being sent from a PLC. If the connection fails, will the connection be re-established while the statement is present, or will the database only try to connect once?
Thank you for your support

Best regards,

Kai

It's the task of the developer, how his application re-acts when the connections fails or gets interupt. SQL Server do nothing is this way, it's the client part.
