SQL Server Connection from a PLC

Hello,
my question relates to the connection string being sent from a PLC. If the connection fails, will the connection be re-established while the statement is present, or will the database only try to connect once?
Thank you for your support

Best regards,

Kai

Hi @KaiPedak-2472,

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!
If the connection fails, there should be a corresponding error message, and then find out the cause of the error according to the error message.

Best regards,
Seeya

It's the task of the developer, how his application re-acts when the connections fails or gets interupt. SQL Server do nothing is this way, it's the client part.
