AM_DELTA_PATCHES differences in Windows versions

Hi all,

I have found in my logs this type of records:
C:\\Windows\\MpSigStub.exe followed by numbers in shape ... for example and then:
C:\\Windows\....\\AM_Delta_Patch_..**.*.exe.

I guess it is something like Signature update for Microsoft Malware Protection. And I would like to know, if that numbers (represented by * in this post) are somehow connected to the Windows versions. Basically, I would like to know if these AM DELTA PATCHes are different for Windows 10, 7, 8.1 or Server?

Thank You for Your answer in advance!

Ben

In term of malware signature , Microsoft will releases the same set of updates for all version of Windows and it means if you update a Windows 8 device with Windows Defender it would have list of all malwares same as the same update for the Windows 10. However the different is features, for example in the Windows 10 , Microsoft Defender comes with Controlled folder access, tamper protection which are not available in the Windows Defender in Windows 8 or Microsoft Security Essentials for the Windows 7 but the signature and list of detected malwares are the same.
