Hi,

I would like to force inbound email from my edge transport servers to route into particular Exchange 2016 servers instead of all available servers. From what I can tell the SmartHosts parameter is currently set to -- which refers to all mailbox servers. Can I manually update this configuration to route to specific servers?

Mike.

You probably need to recreate the Edge Subscription and follow the guidance here:

You can't modify the address space or list of smart hosts at creation time for the automatically created inbound Send connector. However, you can set the CreateInboundSendConnector parameter to the value $false when you create an Edge Subscription. This allows you to manually configure a Send connector from the Edge Transport server to the Exchange organization.
