Microsoft account popup demanding specific email login

I have w11 home build 22000.194.
When I log in as my account, everything is fine.
When my partner logs in with her user account, a microsoft account popup wants my account password.
On closing the popup, it just comes up again, and again.

Have you setup multiple accounts?
In case two people are using the PC, you will need to create two Accounts in Windows 11.

Fixed it, I logged in as the user then changed it to a local account. Popup stopped.
Haven't tried changing back to online user yet but id say it would now be ok.

Hi there,

Is the second account a Local account or did you sign with the same mail address as the first one?

You can try creating a new user on the PC as a local account and check this out

The second user was a local account when the problem began.
I changed to an email login - a different email to the other account.
Windows Hello seems confused :)
