Unable to move shape text in Visio Professional

Hello,
I have not found anyone else with this problem, so I will post it here. I am trying to move the text for a shape, but am unable to. I am able to rotate the text, however.
All I know is I would normally have to click the [Text Block] button, then click and drag the text box. However, this is not working.
I have a video of what I am trying to do, but I don't see a way of sharing that video, unfortunately.
I need the text block to be on the left side of the shape, instead of the top side.
I think I am using Visio 2019, but cannot find any way of checking which version I am using.
I appreciate any help!

    Hi @khobbs1991 ,
    Welcome to Q&A forum!

"I think I am using Visio 2019, but cannot find any way of checking which version I am using."
< You can go to File>Account in Visio to check the detailed version under the Product Information group.

"I have a video of what I am trying to do, but I don't see a way of sharing that video, unfortunately."
< You can save the recoding file as a .gif file, and then share it with us by uploding attachment. Please note that your attachment must be 3.1MB or smaller.

Please update your Visio to the latest verison to check first.
And then try to repir your Visio to check again.

Besides, do all Visio file have this issue? Or some shape have this issue?
Please add other different shapes to test.

I will update my reply after you provide more information.
