Hi,
When I send mails through Outlook(IMAP configured), those sent mails are missing in OWA.
But when I send mail through OWA , sent mails can be found in both OWA and Outlook.
Kindly suggest.

Hi,
I suggest the following steps and see if it helps
Log in to your mailbox in Outlook.
Navigate to File > Options > Mail.
Uncheck the Save copies of messages in Sent Items folder box.
Click OK.
Navigate to File > Exit to close Outlook.
Open up Outlook again.
Navigate to File > Options > Mail.
Check the Save copies of messages in Sent Items folder box.
Click OK.
Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
Tried above mentioned settings, still sent mails from Outlook, not visible in OWA
Please try to set the “Root folder path” for your IMAP account.
File > Account Settings > Change Account > More settings > Advanced. Set "Inbox" for Root folder path:
Then restart Outlook and test again. You can check this blog for more details about this issue: Setting the Sent Items folder for IMAP accounts in Outlook 2013 or Outlook 2016.

Hi LydiaZhou,
Thanks for your reply.
Actually I am facing problem in OWA not in outlook. In Outlook all mails (Inbox, sent items) are visible.
But when user send mail through IMAP , that particular mails are not be seen in sent items in OWA. But Mails are visible in sent items in Outlook.

When we use OWA, it needs to connect the Exchange server. Your issue should be caused by sent items are not saved to the server side, so they can only be checked from Outlook on your computer. We have to set to save sent items to server side.
Additionally, you can use Exchange account instead of IMAP account to send with Outlook. If these items can be seen from OWA, it means OWA can connect to Exchange server and work normally.
Do you check the blog and try suggestions above? What about setting up with Autodiscover to use Exchange account?

I faced same problem, I'm using Exchange webmail server from company.
When I send mail from Phone. Server keep copy, Phone keep copy, but Outlook doesn't load that mail from Server.
When I send mail from Outlook, mail is sent successful, Outlook keep copy, but Server not, Phone not also (because no mail on Server).
So I found question here. Then follow your Suggest, it's solved !
File > Account Settings > Change Account > More settings > Advanced. Set "Inbox" for Root.
But be careful, backup email in Sent folder before change Root. All mail in Sent folder of Outlook will be delete and replace by mail from Server.
After configuration this setting, in the INBOX cannot open a new folder. How to fix it?
