Dear All,

Please see the details:

OS: Windows 10
Version: 21H1
Language: Traditional Chinese
Issue: After installed KB5006670 by auto Windows update, Blue screen (SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION) comes every time when starting Windows. The screen is counting from 0%. When it becomes 100%, the PC boots into Windows 10 successfully.

Why / what causes the blue screen? How can I fix it? (System restore function was NOT enabled.)

Please help. Thanks!

    Hello RockyTsui-7699,

    Thank you for your question.

Sometimes some updates cause error in windows dll files which consequently partially corrupts the system, so I recommend that you remove this update from windows 10 and wait at least 7 days to update again, because by then engineering will already have deployed some fix along with the update.

To remove the update, follow this instruction below:

Instructions: go to settings> update and security> click View update history> at the top of the screen click Uninstall updates> when opening the new screen look for the newly installed update and then right click on it and select Uninstall, wait for the process is complete and then restart your computer to complete the uninstallation completely.
