I have the same issue than Patrice on a Asus Rog with a Intel i7 6700HQ 2.60Ghz with 32Gb Ram and 2 SSD
But the funny thing is that i can run Vm's with windows 11 on this same computer with no problem

Can you please patch this CPU issue so that we can upgrade our computers
and for mémory this image below

I have the same problem with my Lenovo IdeaPad 700-15ISK
It is a quite good laptop and I have no intention to buy a new one, because it's still really fast and runs W10 perfectly.
Only thing holding me from upgrading to W11 is the i7 6700HQ processor which is still quite powerfull.

I've the exact same i7 processor.

Make Windows 11 available on this processor!

Windows 11 can be clean installed on most computers.

Upgrades can be performed in a supported or unsupported fashion.

The unsupported fashion may included modifying the registry and files so that the Windows update agent does not detect the unsupported parameters.

There are many websites reporting the successful upgrades to windows 11 and Windows 11 clean installs on old computers.

Totally agree with everyone here stating that the Intel 7th gen i7 6700HQ 2.60 Ghz is more than capable of running Windows 11. I have the same processor on an HP Envy laptop with 16gb RAM and a Nvidia Geforce GTX 950m graphics card. That is beyond capable is laptops with a Celeron processor can run Windows 11. I could understand some i3s but come on top of the line i7s? Makes no sense at all. I hope Microsoft changes it and starts adding in more i5s and i7s to the list that are compatible with Windows 11!

Windows 11 can be installed on most computers in a supported or unsupported fashion.

If the CPU is not on the supported list these are options:

a) Backup important files > clean install Windows 11

b) Modifying the registry of files so parameters are not detected by the Windows upgrade assistant

I don't understand why Microsoft couldn't just switch off the hardware dependent features with a disclaimer.
No one will trust MS after this fiasco.
