WSUS Offline - The latest Windows 10 update is not avilable

Hello

I am performing a test of the WSUS Offline tool in a private network where there is no internet connection is available. I am using the very latest version of WSUS Offline version available form this location : https://download.wsusoffline.net/

Basically we are using it to update the Windows 10 PCs to the latest updates available on the net. The latest Windows 10 build availbale is Version 2004 (OS Build 19041.330). I am testing the WSUS Offline version **12.0*. However, there is no option to select one for Windows 10 build 2004. This WSUS version shows options until 1909.

How do i get the latest versions of the Windows update(including 2004) using the WSUS Offline tool.

Looking for some expert answers.

WSUS Offline from https://www.wsusoffline.net/ is not an official Microsoft Product. You'll want to ask the developers using their forums - https://forums.wsusoffline.net/

WSUS does have a method to update systems in a disconnected setup. It requires 2 licenses of Windows - 1 you run WSUS on an internet connected system - this becomes the repository for all the updates. You also run a WSUS system on the disconnected network and you Export the database using WSUSUtil, and copy over the update files and database to the disconnected server and then import them on the disconnected WSUS system. The disconnected WSUS system now services your client systems.

The wsusutil.exe export and import commands may help. Here are related steps for your reference:

  1. Install a WSUS server on the disconnected network. This server is known as the WSUS import server.

  2. Synchronize updates and metadata to a WSUS server that is connected to the Internet. This server is known as the WSUS export server.

  3. Transfer the required updates and metadata from the WSUS export server to removable media.

  4. Transport the removable media to the WSUS import server.

  5. Import the updates and metadata to the WSUS import server.

  6. Manage and download updates to client computers on the disconnected network segment by using the WSUS import server.

WSUS Offline Update has never been an officially supported tool.
IMHO WSUS Offline Update fills a critical gap in offline update which Microsoft has neglected.
With the changes around Windows 7 support and others, I suspect it has been been getting progressively more difficult to support the tool.
FYI there is a community edition which is attempting to pickup where the original developers left off.
It linked off the forums of the original site which does support Windows 10 2004. Your mileage may vary.
