WSUS Scheduling Updates on the 5th Week of the Month

I'm trying to schedule updates to be installed on Sunday, October 31st, 2021 using the scheduled updates configuration in WSUS. This date is the 5th Sunday of October. The options in scheduling via GPO are only from the first week to the fourth week. So the 31st is the last day of October, but the 1st day of the week. This coming Sunday, the 24th is the fourth week of October. If I schedule it for Sunday, the 1st week in November, it will be November 7th, not October 31st.

Can anyone help me schedule this or tell me how to handle 5th Sundays in a month?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi@Bulletpencil

Thanks for your posting in Q&A.

I understand your request, and I check the local group policy, there is no the option of fifth week.

The principle of Microsoft designed is to make sure the client could be patched every month, because there aren't five Sundays every month.

So if we schedule updates to be installed on Sunday, October 31st, 2021, we could manually deploy update to the client.

Thanks for your understanding and have a nice day.
