move azure resources between subscriptions

dears,

i have 2 subscriptions under my account in the same directory and i want to consolidate all the resources within one subscription

what is the best way to do it? using azure resource mover or just going to the resource group and choosing to move it to a new subscription?

thank you in advance

Hi @eg1995-5273

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q and A Platform .

The suggested way is it to move all the resources manually, one resource group at a time using :https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-resource-manager/management/move-resource-group-and-subscription

Please review the checklist before move , Like RBAC's etc : https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-resource-manager/management/move-resource-group-and-subscription#checklist-before-moving-resources

Generally this move operation should be smooth without any failures .

Please do accept the answer if your question is answered .

Thanks & Regards,
Pradeep
