Azure Blob Storage Last Access Time - Where do I see that?

From the Azure Book of News 2020 - https://news.microsoft.com/inspire-2020-book-of-news/, it mentioned in 1.2.2 that Blob Storage offers last access time in public preview. Was wondering how I can get more information on that, and specifically, where I can see that on the console / CLI? Would appreciate it if there is any user guide on this topic.

Thank you!

@MZ2016-2718 Firstly, apologies for the delay in responding here and any inconvenience this issue may have caused.

It's not yet turned on! We are working on it, We don't have ETA for now IT will be available very soon.

Currently this isn’t supported. It’s going to be updated soon, You may check in Azure updates

Additional information: Applications and users create, update and delete data in Azure Blob storage continuously. A common requirement is the ability to manage and access both current and historical versions of the data. For example, an application which accepts contracts from customers has a requirement to keep all versions of the contract while keeping the same object name.

As the next step to enhance data management and protection, we are excited to announce the Blob storage versioning preview. Azure Blob Versioning automatically maintains previous versions of an object and identifies them with version IDs. You can list both the current blob and previous versions using version ID timestamps. You can also access and restore previous versions as the most recent version of your data if it was erroneously modified or deleted by an application or other users.

You can start previewing this feature on any existing or new General-purpose (GPv2) storage accounts in France South, France Central, Canada East and Canada Central regions.

Learn more.

Hope this helps!

Thank you very much for the update Sumarigo

This is something which I think will be very useful, to determine usage of blobs and possible archiving

Do you perhaps have any updates on the progress of this or a planned release date?

Thank you very much

Chris
