I want to factory reset my Win8.1 laptop that came with pre-installed (OEM) windows 8.1 Single Language OS to new. Today, I realize that I can't factory reset it anymore. Last time, I easily factory resets my win8.1 without any problem.

I suspect that I accidentally formatted my drive using VMware player recently or maybe I erased that pre-installed OS on my laptop. How can I solve this please?

    Hi there,

I would suggest you to update all your drivers and BIOS from the manufacturer's website.

You can then try to enable the TPM.

Press [Windows Key] + R or select Start > Run.

Type “tpm.msc” (do not use quotation marks) and choose OK.

If you see a message saying a “Compatible TPM cannot be found,” your PC may have a TPM that is disabled. See How to enable TPM for more information or check your PC manufacturer’s support information for instructions to enable the TPM.
