MS Teams direct reply stopped working on Ubuntu

Hi I am using the latest desktop app of ms teams 1.4.00.26453 (64-bit) for Ubuntu 20.
This feature got introduced on 21st of October and worked until last week.. now the option to directly reply to a message is gone from the context menu when I click the 3 .. dots next to a message in a group or private chat. When I login via chrome browser it is the same.
This is really annoying because for me ms teams was really annoying to use before they introduced this little feature which I think is one of the most essentials every chat has..

Sorry for the inconvenient experience.

At present, we get no reason for removing Reply feature. No official document explains this. We will try to figure out the cause and I'll let you know if anything turns up.

During the update and maintenance process of products, it will have some alterations which might bring users inconvenience and confusion. However, the main purpose is to improve the product and bring better experience and more possibility to all. Thanks for your understanding, your trust with Microsoft is our source of inspiration and continuous improvement.

Same here, but I realized that if you pop out a chat the option appears again, is still annoying but if you really need it you can pop out chats until it works again.

Good news!

This feature is back now. You should quit the Teams app and relaunch it. I recheck it in my client as below:

I don't have this option on Ubuntu either.

You have Microsoft Teams Version 1.5.00.23861 (64-bit).
