Unable to enable Replication Azure Site Recovery

Hello,
I am trying to test out migrating our on-premise hyper v machines to azure by using Azure Site Recovery. I keep getting
Job State Exception. Error Code: 32768. ErrorSummaryDescription: Hyper-V failed to enable replication.. ErrorDescription: Hyper-V failed to enable replication for virtual machine 'PC': Unspecified error (0x80004005)

The host machine is Windows Server 2019 but it is NOT domain joined. That's the only thing I can think of that is the issue. The host just logs the same error as above.

Any help would be appreciated

@PeterKarman-8608 Sorry for the inconvenience caused!

If a higher version MARS agent is already installed on a host, and it is not the MARS agent version compatible with the scenario, trying to upgrade with the latest MARS installer will have no effect on the MARS installation on the host.

  1. Export the MARS agent registry key “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Azure Backup”.

  2. Uninstall the MARS agent on the host.

  3. Install the new agent. The latest MARS for ASR is available here: https://aka.ms/downloadmarsagent

  4. Import the registry key back, which was exported in Step 1.
