I have 2 networks with 2 domain controllers. Each employee has 2 PCs connected to each network and 1 user name for each domain. UserA for domain A and UserB for domain B. there are 100 employees. How many CALs do I need? 100 or 200? I think 100 CALs enough because I have just 100 employees?
A Windows Server CAL is a license that grants access Windows Server. CALs are used in conjunction with Microsoft Windows Server OS licenses to allow Users and/or Devices to access and utilize the services of that windows server
- User CALs allow a single user access to Windows Server from an unlimited number of devices
- Device CALs allow an unlimited number of users to access Windows Server from a single device

I understand the difference between User and Device CAL. So, how name user CALs I need in my case?
Its like this since you have both two devices per user and also two different servers to connect to.

If User Cals then one per user per server = 100 X 2
If Device Cals then one per client device per user = 2 X 100
