com.apple.account error 3

I am getting an error when trying to authenticate Exchange in my MacBook Pro in the Calendar app.

Everything works up to the point of authentication. If I authenticate with a wrong password it acknowledge the wrong password, so I am assuming that it passes the authentication step.

The error is: "The operation couldn't be completed. (com.apple.accounts error 3.)

I have deleted and references to Exchange and ADAL in keychain. And I already changed my password.

Despite this, I am able to sign up to the account for Apple Calendar app in my iPhone.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

I am getting an error when trying to authenticate Exchange in my MacBook Pro in the Calendar app.

If you happen to have Outlook for Mac installed on your MacBook, would you have a try and see if the Exchange account can be configured properly there?

Besides, to help narrow down the issue, it's also suggested to try adding a different account like a personal outlook.com to the Calendar app on Mac and see if the error persists.

I can add Google calendar, for instance, but not an Exchange account.
I managed to solve the problem by subscribing the ICS link.
