Can someone please advise on this error?

Going to a prod url i get this error:

"This application was designed in a version of Microsoft Access that is not compatible with the version of Access Services 2010 installed on this server. The application must be opened in a compatible version of Microsoft Access and upgraded manually in order to be used on this server. Click Open in Access to open the file in Microsoft Access."

Access Services is not enabled - does it need to be?

I am very new to this sharepoint farm - did not design it etc etc

Please can someone comment on the question?

Please configure Access Services and ensure that Access services is started on your farm.

For Access apps, Access Services needs to be set up and configured in SharePoint Server 2013. You can refer to this article: Set up and configure Access Services for Access apps in SharePoint Server 2013. For information about how to set up and configure Access Services for Access apps, see the following white paper: White Paper: Office 2013--Access Services Setup for an On-Premises Installation.

For Access web databases, you need to Set up and configure Access Services 2010 on your farm. Refer to this: Set up and configure Access Services 2010 for web databases in SharePoint Server 2013.
