You can follow the steps below to cancel a Support Plan.

    • Go to the Azure portal by navigating to https://portal.azure.com/.
    • Sign in with your Microsoft account credentials that are associated with your MCA account.
    • Click or search for "Help + support"
    • On the Overview page, you will see the "Support plan" section. Here, you can see the details of your current support plan, including the Azure Developer Support Plan for $29.
    • To cancel your Azure Developer Support Plan, click on the "Cancel support plan" button located next to your current support plan.
    • Follow the instructions to confirm the cancellation of your Azure Developer Support Plan.

Once you complete the above steps, your Azure Support Plan will be cancelled. Please note that you will still have access to any remaining support requests for which you have already opened a ticket.

I tried to follow these steps but they didn't appear correct as there was no "Cancel Support Plan" option. So I did the following:

You can follow the steps below to cancel a Support Plan.

    • Go to the Azure portal by navigating to https://portal.azure.com/.
    • Sign in with your Microsoft account credentials that are associated with your MCA account.
    • Click on and open "Help + support" from the menu (or search for it)
    • On the Overview page, you will see the "Support plans" section from the left-hand menu. Select that to open the plans page
    • To, say cancel your "Azure Developer Support Plan", select the "Change" button under the "Basic" (free) support plan and confirm that. This will "downgrade" to the free option.

This is about cancelling the subscription. i am referring to only stopping the standard support plan and leaving it back to the basic plan. The subscription stays intact.
