sync smartphone contact with azure ad account

I'm looking for a way to sync users' phone contacts with their account. so that, for example, when changing devices, contacts are also transferred.
I found a way https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/sync-your-device-contacts-313a0ecd-6d3d-4645-9db2-92762be9618a but don't understand how it works. I turned on synchronization on my smartphone in the MS teams settings, but the contacts did not appear in the PEOPLE app .
tell me how it works?

Hi,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

You could refer to this: New contact sync scenario available with Outlook for iOS on enrolled devices

Thanks for your time.

Best regards,

Hi Simon and everyone,

I followed the instructions for "Automatically configure Outlook contact sync to the native contacts app"
but I have the impression that I am missing a step...
Because the setting "synchronize contacts" remains unchanged in the smartphone.
(Only detail the account was already configured in the phone.)

My other BIG problem is that we would like the end users to have automatic access to the contacts of the corporate directory.
Today when an end user receives a call from one of his colleagues on his smartphone he does not see who is calling him.

:-/

Best regards,
Alves Alessandro
