Standard policy not supported for Trusted VMs(Unable to backup VM)

Hi I keep getting this error Standard policy not supported for Trusted VMs. Does this mean I am unable to back up my VM?

Hi @KevonSpringer-5400

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Platform .

And unfortunately , This is by design behavior :
According to documentation, having "Security type: Trusted launch enabled "will not allow Backup and Azure Site recovery to work on that VM.

Ref:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/trusted-launch-portal?tabs=portal
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-machines/trusted-launch#faq

Thanks & Regards,
Pradeep

So how do you protect your VMs while Trusted Launch is On?

Combination of both Trusted VM and standard policy doesnt work :(
