Web Application Migration to Azure PAAS

Hi everyone,

We have migration project for Web Application and SQL DBS to Azure PAAS.

Do you know any sample application that we can deploy in our iis server and SQL server to test the process?

Hello,

Any one can help me with error I am getting once I am trying to open WWI Web Interface?

Notes:
I tried copy paste this content to wwwroot but it didn't work
sample-wide-world-importers-master.zip\sample-wide-world-importers-master\wwi-app
Also I tried copy this content:
sample-wide-world-importers-master.zip\sample-wide-world-importers-master\wwi-app\wwwroot
but also it didn't work.

WWI source provided by Alberto:

The problem sounds like there is no html page to open it.

So what should I do in this case?

Hi Alberto,

Where are the binaries for the web site on IIS? and the scripts that create the DB on MS SQL Server?

Hi Alberto,

SQL Server is up and running with WWI databases, everything looks great.

I went through the second link and I downloaded the application and here I am confused, I though I would find some web pages that I can copy /paste into IIS Server, and run the application.

I saw the link below, However, this link doesn't deploy the application to Windows Server IIS.

As I said earlier, my target is to have a sample application that we can deploy in our iis server and SQL server to test the migration process to Azure PaaS.

So, How can I benefit from the sample application that you suggest to reach my target?

I am sorry to create confusion. I provided also Web APIs, backend apps, etc. Forget about what I shared and use this wwi-app.

I have added the wwwroot directory and it shows as follow in IIS:
