iOS User Enrolment - Verification Failed - Cannot find this person.

Hi, I've been working on some iOS BYOD configuration and initial testing has all gone ok so I've started to roll out to a small test group. Of the 7 users doing the testing, 3 have enrolled without any issue but I have one coming back with an issue I haven't seen before and I'm not really sure where to start looking.

On running thought the enrolment process via Company Portal everything is going as expected until the user goes into the General/Settings to install the enrolment profile. At that point he is getting an error stating that "Verification Failed - Cannot find this person."

I'm are using SCIM Federation from AzureAD into Apple Business Manager using the Enterprise app etc. I can see the account has been created in Apple Business Manager and I know some form of commuication has occured as the user in ABM is no longer showing as a 'new user', its now showing as an 'Active Account'. As such I'm not sure where the issue could be or what to do to go about resolving it.

Any thoughts?

@DaveKwas Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

For this issue, it is more complex, because it is related to intune, ABM and Azure AD. Honestly, only from the error message, it is not enough to find the root cause. It is needed to do log analysis and check more background information.
