Azure : How MS Edge browser is fetching and passing deviceid?

Hi,

Whenever the user tries to login from MS Edge browser, deviceid will be passed. I would like to know where this deviceid is stored on device and how edge browser is retrieving the same and passing it?

  1. What deviceid are you talking about? Could you please explain more about it?

  2. Which site does the user login and how do you check the deviceid being passed?

  3. Does this also happen in other browsers?
