SCCM WSUS Update Failed - 82492 (0x1423C)

Hi All,

I've been struggling on this issue for quite some time now and can't seem to figure our the root cause of the problem.
whenever i tried to deploy a Windows Update to my Windows 10 clients , it doesnt seem to work and updates are not appearing into my software center.

i began digging across the web and have tried multiple articles and nothing seem to work.

Like, configuring the Pool and memory for my WSUS App pool. ram is at O for unlimited.

as per the windowsupdate log., i have tried accessing the WSUS url and do some testing.

i verified the client has no proxies.

i totally losing hope on this issue, i can deploy applications to my clients but i can't deploy windows update.
i am totally lost on this.

I hope someone can walk me through on how to fix this issue.

Hi,

Thanks for posting in Q&A.

We could try to access the WSUS url with FQDN: http://SCCMSite HQ.itself.ite.edu.sg:8530/SimpleAuthWebService/SimpleAuth.asmx. to check if they are connected correctly.

If so, kindly run the action of Software Updates Scan cycle manually, and then navigate to C:\inetpub\logs\LogFiles\W3SVC1185638419(find the log for the corresponding date. ) to check if there is the record about connecting the WSUS or any errors.

I have adjusted according to that article. but unfortunately the problem still exist.

are the error codes pointing to IIS?

Is this still open? If so, please attach the ConfigMgr logs relating to WSUS/SUP, and the WindowsUpdate.log from the client
