Blank bar at top of Teams page when fully expanded.

After opening Teams full screen, it has a white bar about an inch or so high across the top of Teams. This covers up all the things above where the Chat icon is. It acts like it is dead space because if I click and hold in there, I can move icons on the desktop, and if I right-click, it gives the same options as right-clicking on the desktop. Have closed out Teams from the taskbar, and it reloads the same.

Hi @JonMercer-8382,

Is this a suddenly occurred issue?
Does this affect other applications running on the machine?

Please try signing out via the upper right corner and then sign in again to see if there would be any difference:

If the white bar issue persists, it's recommended to clearing the client cache using the steps below:
1. Close Teams, go to %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams, you can do this by directly copying and pasting it via Start and hit Enter.
2. Remove all the content inside the Teams folder.
3. Restart Teams.

In case it still doesn't work, it's worth trying to remove and then re-install the Teams application.

It isn't possible to do the first step, because that whole area is covered by a white bar. I basically did that step by closing teams via the task bar, so it hard closed.
Not sure clearing the cache or reinstalling would fix it, given what I had to do, to resolve it, though it could be a temporary fix.

Everything above the chat icon was a white bar. This was the first time seeing this, but looking through forums, it seems to have been around for a while. It happened after they maximized teams.

I did resolve it, by using something I found on one of the forums, by changing the display from 100% to 125%, and then back. Testing now to see if it comes back, to see if it is just a glitch, or if there is an issue with Teams, and maybe a graphics driver, though we have a fair number of people that use the same computers with same drivers (call center), and this only has so far happened once on one system.

Ok, though I don't know if changing the display scaling, and then changing it back is a permanent fix. So if anyone comes across this, know there is a chance it could come back.
