Cannot add endpoints to Traffic Manager Profile

Using the Azure Portal to add an endpoint to a WebApp in same region (East US) and resource group as my (new) traffic manager profile fails, giving me this error detail...

Operation name
Create or Update a Traffic Manager Azure Endpoint

Event initiated by

InternalServerError

I've tried several times with over an hour in-between; I deleted and recreated the traffic manager profile; I tried with various names for the end point, etc.

The App Service has no wildcard domains; the default ...azurewebsites... and one sub-domain with an (SNI-based) SSL certificate attached and confirmed.

We did a similar setup earlier today in a different resource group, with Web App in different subdomain (of same domain, as it happens) but otherwise very similar. The process has been fine previously for us.

Any clues on this?

Regards,
Keith

Hello @KeithFearnley-4017, Thank you for reaching out. This might be a browser/portal issue, to narrow down the actually problem, can you please try different deployment methods and see if you observe any errors? You can runs these commands to add App service as an endpoint to your traffic manager profile Powershell / Az CLI / ARM template

Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Thank you!
