Use GPU instances from another region

I'm currently based in London and would like to use a MS Azure ND A100 V4-Series instance with 4x NVIDIA V100 GPU.

However, the regional availability shows that this instance is not available in the UK: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/global-infrastructure/services/?products=virtual-machines

Will I still be able to use a ND100v4 instance? Can I just use on that's available in, eg., West Europe, or East US?

Hi Michael,

Yes, you should be able to deploy this VM in any of the Azure regions that have availability for this VM family. So for example you can deploy to the West Europe region if that works for you.

Please note, for some VM families you may have to first request a quota of vCPU cores before you can deploy. The process for this is outlined here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-portal/supportability/regional-quota-requests
