Microsoft Teams doesn't detect my microphone on Linux Mint MATE

I have installed Microsoft Teams on Linux Mint MATE and it doesn't detect my microphone. I have tried uninstalling and installing it using the terminal, or downloading it from the official website, however I still face this issue.

In particular, on the "Devices" section the microphone appears as "None" and it remains invariable even when I use earphones.

Thank you for your help.

Hi @len34-8432

Could you check if your microphone is enabled in your Linux Minit?

If it could detect the microphone in your system, can other applications use it with no issue?

To exclude the client issue, it also recommends you try to use Teams web client to see if it can be reproduced.

Absolutely.
Basically each time I turned off or on my laptop, it seemed like the audio configurations changed randomly, but since I started manually changing the audio configurations for a few times just after turning on my laptop, it started to understand my favourite configuration. Now, it automatically configurates on my chosen settings each time I turn the laptop on again. I am not sure it makes sense but I believe the issue has been solved!
Thank you for the interest c:
