Litigation hold - move to O365

I recently moved some litigation hold mailboxes from on premise to O365. When reviewing the mailbox user in O365 I don't see any reference to litigation hold however in the Exchange online console the user shows as litigation hold under "mailbox features".
Is this normal to expect this?

What does

 Get-Mailbox <user> |FL LitigationHoldEnabled, InPlaceHolds

show?

Since you migrated from on-prem it should show

LitigationHoldEnabled = True

What you are seeing is normal since on-prem uses the classic lit hold architecture and enables the hold across the mailbox.
InPlaceHolds would be populated if you were to place a mailbox on hold using the 365 Compliance/EDiscovery tools

Running the command on a migrated litigation mailbox shows:

LitigationHoldEnabled = True
