Azure VPN Client Offline Installer

Hi All

I am struggling with a deployment using the Azure VPN Client in my organisation.

We are currently using 300+ surface pro devices, and we're leveraging on-premises AD with Azure VM replication of our Domain Controller.

I am trying to enable the following VPN (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/azure-vpn-client/9np355qt2sqb?activetab=pivot:overviewtab) via the Microsoft Store, however, it is consistently prompting with a Personal Microsoft Account.

This is becoming problematic, and I cannot find reference to an Offline Installer.

Can anyone make any recommendations other than using a different VPN solution?

@BeauDean-5873,
I believe that you would be trying to download the VPN Application from the public store and NOT from your company Store For Business (Intune). When downloading an application from the Store for Business, the end-user should see an “INSTALL” button instead of the “GET” button. If you are downloading the tool from the Microsoft store then it will only accept personal email ID (not corporate id).

Hi everyone,

Thank you for your input.

We currently do not have Microsoft Store for Business deployed, as these are locally domain-joined devices, not azure-ad joined.
Additionally, please see the image below, where no personal account or work account authentication has occurred on a local domain joined device (lenovo), yet it still allows installation.

However, if you do the exact same gpo, configuration, but with a Surface device, it will fail to allow you to download and install the app?

Is it that difficult to obtain an MSI installer for deployment via group policy for such a trivia solution?

@BeauDean-5873, Are you able to bypass the authentication or still looking for help? Also, please do try installing Windows apps using "Winget" utility tool from your CMD,

Thank you @suvasara-MSFT

This has bypassed the store user login prompt.
