A lot of times when browsing the web I will right click a photo to save it. Lately, "after several windows updates," when I right-click on an image and choose save image as, it takes a long time before the explorer option pops up . Anyone else experiencing this. TIA
Have you installed any extensions on the Microsoft Edge?
Are you facing problem with other operations (like copy and paste)?
Is there any pending updates?

Which version of Edge and OS are you using?
Does the issue occur in other browsers like Chrome?
Does it take long time when you do other operations in Edge?
You can also try to disable all the extensions in Edge and reset Edge, then test again to see if the issue still exists.
Software Issue
I recommend you to reinstall Microsoft edge if you are experience this problem on edge but if you are experiencing this problem on all browsers then there might be an hardware issue.
Hardware Issue
May be your graphics card or graphic display driver is not updated
