Help! How do I STOP the annoying News pop-ups and autolaunch of Microsoft Edge.

I have tried everything and am about ready to throw all Microsoft products into the lake. Is there anyway to STOP the news popups and the Auto Launch of Microsoft Edge. I have uninstalled the program and it keeps coming back, I clear cookies and it takes care of the problem for a minute then its back. I don't want to deal with popups while I am working and I can't find a way to destroy this evil intruder. HELP.

Would you mind elaborate more on this issue?
Are you seeing them in all pages or only when you start the Microsoft Edge or new tabs?

For better understanding the issue, I want to confirm the following things with you:

What pop up do you get? Could you please provide a screenshot of the issue?
Which version of Edge and OS are you using?
Do you mean Edge auto launch every time you turn on the computer?
