Unable to save Update Management deployment if pre-script requires parameters

I am trying to add a pre-script to an update management deployment that requires a mandatory string parameter but the OK option remains greyed out even when the parameter is populated. This feature was previously working and the issue seemed to start on 20-01-2022.

After some testing I have found if the pre-script requires any parameter even an optional one the OK option remains greyed out. I have tried to import runbooks from the gallery and they also experience the issue. If I select a runbook that doesn't require any parameters I am able to save the deployment and continue.

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Seems to be an issue with MS backend, although they haven't acknowledged it publicly.

For anyone interested, the issue seems to be resolved now - I have been able to assign pre/post scripts that require variables as of testing today.
