I have signed in and can see my devices however, when I go to "Get Apps" there is nothing there. I have tried working with our IT dept but they are have a hard time figuring it out as well.

How are the applications assigned? To groups or all users or all devices? How are your device enrolled?

I'm not sure how the apps are assigned but I downloaded the Company Portal and then signed in with my work email to enroll
From my experience, we can troubleshoot from the two aspects: user account and app assignment. For user account, please make sure that the user who login to Company Portal has assigned correct licenses and the app assignment group includes this user. For app assignment, please make sure this app has the correct assignment type, such as Available and Required. Also, please click Settings > Sync to immediately check for policy or profile updates.

Can I know what platform have you signed in? Windows, Android or iOS?
If the platform is Windows, please also login to Company Portal website to see if you can see the apps.
Also, as mentioned before, you can contact IT dept to make sure the device has enrolled to Intune and the assignment types are Available for enrolled devices or Required.
