AADSTS50011 Error when connecting Excel PowerPivot to Azure Analysis Services

When trying to make a connection from Excel PowerPivot out to an Azure Analysis Services cube, I get the below error once I click on the Design button in Power Pivot.

AADSTS50011: The reply URL specified in the request does not match the reply URLs configured for the application: 'cf710c6e-dfcc-4fa8-a093-d47294e44c66'.

Specific version of Excel:

Version 2108 (Build 14326.20738 Click-to-Run)
Microsoft Excel for Microsoft 365 MSO (16.0.14326.20706) 64-bit

If I just do "Get Data" from Excel, or use Power Query to connect, the connection works fine and I can connect and load data from the cube. However, when using PowerPivot, I am able to see the cubes on my server, and a "Test Connection" is successful. However, once I click the "design" button, in order to build my query, that is when the error message pops up.

Hello @BenMackin,
Thanks for the ask and using Microsoft Q&A platform .
As we understand the ask here is how to connect to a cube using powerpivot . Please do let me know if that not accurate .
At this tim I think we need to dig a bit more and so if you have a support plan you may file a support ticket, else could you please send an email to azcommunity@microsoft.com with the below details, so that we can create a one-time-free support ticket for you to work closely on this matter.

It looks like you are suggesting the use of a paid ODBC driver from a company called CDATA. Is there not a way using the native Microsoft drivers to make this connection? I work in an enterprise setting, and am unable to just download or install other driver software.

It appears that my version of Office just received a new update on Monday. I am in an Enterprise setting, and we are on the “Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel”, so maybe our updates are slightly delayed from the normal release cadence.

This new version is now working as expected, and I can connect from PowerPivot to Azure Analysis Services.

For reference, my old version was:

Version 2108 (Build 14326.20738 Click-to-Run)
Microsoft Excel for Microsoft 365 MSO (16.0.14326.20706) 64-bit

New version is:

Version 2108 (Build 14326.20784 Click-to-Run)
Microsoft Excel for Microsoft 365 MSO (16.0.14326.20782) 64-bit
