I was trying to add a picture to my message, but when i drop a file or picture, it goes full screen.
The only way to get back to the text editor panel, is to use Back arrow but them you need to re-do your messages.
Is there something i am missing there ?

Your observation is 100% correct. I tried to drag and drop and yes, the pic is occupying full screen. Workaround is - instead of drag and drop, add image -> upload by selecting file. I would say you can raise this as site feedback using Post -> Site feedback option. Give link to this question for reference.
Sorry, couldn't understand. Please explain more. I just took a snip of the question and could add image below. No full screen related issue. Are you not able to do so?

What i mean is, if you drag and drop a picture here in the text box, it give you a black screen around the picture and you can't close it. You have to go back but you lose what what you just typed in the text box.
