DB import error

Hi, I created a MariaDB server and I am able to connect it using commandline. I created a database and few empty tables from mysql cli without any issues. I am unable to import a database dump in the server. I get below error, root@server2 [~]# mysql -h servicename.mariadb.database.azure.com -P 3306 -u user@servicename -p wp_db102 < /root/db.sql Enter password: ERROR 1005 (HY000) at line 25: Can't create table wp_db102.wp_actionscheduler_actions (errno: 1 "Operation not permitted") I referred this article for the steps, https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/mysql/concepts-migrate-dump-restore Thanks,

Hi @AjinPrasad-2392, apology for the trouble you have been facing. Could you please provide few details related to the issue?

  1. Are you trying to migrate/import the database from 'Azure Database for MariaDB' to 'Azure Database for MySQL'?

  2. if 1st point is yes. can you please tell us the process of creating the 'db.sql' backup of mariadb?

  3. The article you mentioned restores the database from backup file to Azure MySQL database, but the host name(servicename.mariadb.database.azure.com) is of MariaDB. It should be the Azure MySQL Database server host name. Could you please confirm?

Azure database for MariaDB - 1005 (HY000) (errno: 1 "Operation not permitted")
Azure database for MySQL v8.0 - SUCCESS
