Android 12 personally owned device Enrollment

Hi Everyone,

In our organization, we are having set up for Enrolling personally owned work profile enrollment for Android devices. We are using hardware identifiers to enroll mobiles into end point manager. But lately we found issue with this method for Android 12 mobiles, we are not able to enroll the mobiles with the hardware identifiers, we have tried another method enrolling the mobiles as corporate owned .Token/QR code method requires mobile to be wiped before setup , as users are using personally owned device to use corporate apps, it is is not advisable for resetting data.

So could you please help us regarding the issue?

@kamalnayan-9362, In fact, Google has removed the ability for apps to access hardware identifiers on personally-owned work profile devices. So it is affected. Here is a document for the reference:

For other enrollment methods, they need to be reset. I notice you don't want to reset. If so, as a workaround, we can create a new Enrollment device platform restrictions policy to allow to enroll with Android Enterprise personally owned work profile device. Then enroll it. After it completes, remove the user from this allow policy.
