Hello, @Josu-5066!

Thank you for your report! Cryptocurrency mining is a difficult subject due to the rapid changes in mining hardware and laws being introduced from around the world. As a result, there isn't much official documentation on it outside of brief mentions in the terms of service for different Azure offers (you are explicitly not allowed to use free Azure credits to mine, for example).

As it currently stands, mining in the cloud would be done at a noticeable loss. This discourages legitimate miners from using cloud services as they aren't profitable. It also means that mining in the cloud is a strong indication of a illegitimate activity which we actively monitor and address.

If you want more information, you can read through our offer details and legal information:

They delete the card so no loss or invoices.

@Josu-5066, that's exactly the type of behavior that is explicitly against the terms of service and what we actively monitor for. Thank you again for raising awareness.
