MS Teams on Linux

Hi,
I'm using Linux (Ubuntu) OS, I've been installed the Teams app successfully.
But the problem is refusing login with my personal account, it forces me to sign in with an enterprise or school account which I have not!
I'm an intern and use a personal account.

You need to create a free organization account first in order to start using the application. You may follow on the steps explained here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/sign-up-for-teams-free-classic-70aaf044-b872-4c32-ac47-362ab29ebbb1
Then, you can use the account to login in your computer successfully

Thanks for answering!
This solution didn't open the "Teams desktop app"
It uses a "web-based app". Therefore, I really couldn't use the app with personal accounts?

Could you please explain further the actual issue now you are facing? It is unclear and not able to understand it well. Let's know the steps you completed so far. Usually, after the installation, Teams app can be opened by typing teams in terminal

The app was opening but, I couldn't log in with my account.
It said:
"This version of Teams only supports work or school accounts managed by an organization."

I didn't have an organization account, it's my personal.

The steps I did after your help are:
1- sign out from the browser and app
2- starting to create a free account as written in the link above:
3- I typed my actual email, as it is written there: "We'll use this email to set up Teams. If you already have a Microsoft account, feel free to use that email here."
4- After that, I chose "for work" but step 4 in the link doesn't appear to me. -also step 8-
5- I completed the steps, downloaded and installed the app.
6- I tried to sign in but it said: "This version of Teams only supports work or school accounts managed by an organization."
