windows 11 update has sound issue with netflix and spotify

Netlfix app has disrupted sound effects. Spotify is not accepting my earphones. But it is accepting bluetooth headphones. Not accepting plug in earphones.

I have a sound issue with Netflix also. Will play at correct volume with external speakers but not plug-in headphones or earphones. I don't have this issue on any other app, and I don't have Spotify, sorry.
Hopefully someone will read this and post a useful solution. If I find a solution I'll post back here.
