Windows 11 update KB5010414 couldn't install - error 0x800f0922

I have tried various suggestions one can already find on different YouTube and other channels which suggest i) Windows Update Trouble shoot, or ii) changes to NET settings in the switching things on/off menu under Programs & Features, or iii) changes to Background Intelligent Transfer and Widows Update in Services. But none work. The update is unable to install.

@EricLawrie-6428
As Docs-4663 mentioned below, it seems that the case is related with Windows 11. So I would like to add the windows-11 topic and the more related experts will try to make suggestions and ideas.

Thanks for your time and cooperation.

Regards,
Rita

That would be great. Of note, the problem has not been resolved. Even reinstalling Windows 11 does not fix the error as the setup process looks for updates, and as soon as KB5010414 is found, I get the message that Windows 11 installation has failed. There appears to be some rather large glitch / bug in update KB5010414.

The tag displayed: windows-server-update-services

Isn't this Windows 11? The optimal tag is: windows-11

Often the easiest method to troubleshoot this install error is to perform an in place upgrade repair:

https://www.elevenforum.com/t/repair-install-windows-11-with-an-in-place-upgrade.418/
https://www.elevenforum.com/t/download-official-windows-11-iso-file-from-microsoft.1009/
https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11

During the in place upgrade repair it's best to uninstall any of these non-Microsoft software:
a) antivirus
b) firewall
c) drive encryption
