Entered name of user changed when invited to Azure directory

When I invite a user in my Azure directory I enter their name, first name and last name. In the meantime their first name and last name disappear and sometimes even the name field is changed. For some users ExternalAzureAD is Identity issuer, and for some mail is Identity issuer, maybe that has something to do with it. I tried to add and delete them multiple times and every time the issue persists. I need first name and last name added automatically without the need to edit the names afterwards. This is making me problems when I try do implement SSO.

Hi @Sima-9715 , how are the users joining? Do you have a sign-up flow? When you say the names are disappearing, where? In active users? Does it show their information but not names? Please attach a screenshot if possible and I can help you further.

Best,
James

Hi @JamesHamil-MSFT , thank you for the answer. I invite users in my Azure Active Directory, I specify their name, email, first name and last name. Until the user accepts the invite, only name and email are saved and first name and last name are lost immediately upon creating the user. But from the moment the user accepts the invite that is sent to his mail, even the name is changed to the string before the '@' sign in his mail. The fact that first name and last name are lost gives me problems because I am trying to setup SSO on my application. I am attaching screenshots so you can better understand what am I trying to say.

Update: The solution was that the user was targeting the wrong tenant.

The only GA for the tenant appears as an external/guest user. So it appears as the call is made against the home tenant of the user and not the one he is actually targeting. As it appears there is no other GA present, he will need to create one and assign the permissions needed to perform the action required.
