Microsoft Azure Load Test tool : Testing Privately Hosted Apps

Hi Team,

We are evaluating new "Microsoft Azure Load Test tool" as an alternative to currently used load test tool in our project. As per information available with us, currently this tool can test only publicly hosted apps and does not support load testing of applications hosted within private networks. We wanted to check, if there can be any option of exposing privately hosted test environments with secure access (using some gateway/firewall configurations/Private IPs) to enable this tool to interact with privately hosted apps.

Thanks

@Navjot-6680 - Welcome to Microsoft Q&A and thanks for reaching out to us.

We currently have a feature in development -- VNET injection -- which is designed to enable testing of private endpoints. We are currently testing this feature with a set of customers to validate whether the feature adequately supports this scenario. If the evaluation is positive, we will make the feature more widely available.

Hope this helps. and please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.

Hello!

We are in the process of evaluating Azure Load Testing. However our endpoints are private (Classic Azure VM Hosting with virtualnetwork/subnet configured). Any idea on when this feature will be available?

Regards,
Twisha
