AADC 1.5.45.0 - Public Delegate Write Back

Hello,

In my organisation, exchange hybrid writeback is enabled for the user and in which Scoping Filter is blank and Transformation says Target Attribute as "PublicDelegates" and Source as "PublicDelegates". But the issue her is, when users are trying to clear Public Delegates from Outlook the value is writing back, but at the same time when they modify delegates with other persons name its not clearing or writing back.

So Any idea why only clearing delegates is writing back ? Any help is much appreciated!

Is your main issue that the publicDelegates are not writing back from the cloud to on-prem, or are you trying to remove publicDelegates?

To automatically write back the send on behalf (publicDelegates) attribute, the user must enable the Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) Connect Exchange hybrid deployment settings and must be running version 1.1.553 or a later version. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/troubleshoot/send-emails/delegate-cannot-send-on-behalf-of-after-migration

It sounds like the issue might be related to the attribute mapping. The attribute that is written back to on-premises is publicDelegates, and the Connect UI exchange value is ms-Exch-Public-Delegates. The list of attributes written to is here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/connect/active-directory-aadconnectsync-attributes-synchronized#exchange-hybrid-writeback

The issue is, when team is trying to remove Public Delgates from Outlook. But when they clear delegates it seems that basic Outlook functionality is not working ! So How can we clear the delegate field without any issues is the question ?

Also the Exchange Hybrid Writeback which enabled doesn't have a scoping filter and Transformation for Target Attribute as "PublicDelegates" and Source as "PublicDelegates" . I did search Source and couldn't see any attribute name "ms-Exch-Public-Delegates". May be its bcz of AADC version 1.5.45
