Windows Azure Autopilot stuck at account setup

Less of a question and more of a quick tip, I have found a work around for the Azure autopilot getting stuck

When stuck on account setup run CMD (Shift+F10) launch explorer and rerun the OOBE, from here create a local account to reach the login screen, assuming the system has actually connected to Azure you should now be able to log in with your Azure details. The Microsoft account setup may hang but desktop should be available. Ctrl + Alt + Delete to sign out and sign back in and you should now be signed in with no issues.

Hi @SeanSwanson-6133,

Thank you for sharing this tip!

In addition, there is a troubleshooting guide, Troubleshooting the Enrollment Status Page, that goes over some steps for getting past the account setup page.

Another thing to note is when there are issues with timing and failures in the account setup page using the online version of the company portal, it is recommended to use the offline deployment instead. Offline apps are also recommended when you need to install and maintain a specific app version.

Thanks again for sharing your findings.
