What Software is displayed in intune?

Hello,

As we are currently investigate what programs the users in out company use we tried to look into intune first.
I noticed that some software is being recognized and displayed in intunes discovered apps, some software isnt.
How is software being discovered and what are the requirements for software to be displayed?

Any help is much appreciated.

@ChristianAndreasMielke-2780, In fact, for personal devices, Intune never collects information on applications that are unmanaged. On corporate devices, any app whether it is a managed app or not is collected for Intune discovered apps report. Here is a table list the apps are monitored in discovered apps report:
