I would advise you to examine the SMSTS.log, setuperr.log, and setupact.log to find details about Apply Driver Package step failure prompt to troubleshoot OSD-related problems.
Validate whether the boot image is upgraded to the latest installed SCCM version. It’s important to update the boot images.
At a high level, the process involves the following steps make sure you have done this right.
-Create a new package that contains all of the required drivers for this hardware type
-Add an “Apply driver package” task to the task sequence with a WMI filter based on the model type
-If required configure the “Apply driver package” to apply a Mass Storage driver
-Create an application for each driver that must be installed
-Add all applications to the task sequence with a WMI filter based on the model type.
