Error message when deploying a Required IOS app Intune

To anyone,
I deployed Outlook to IOS device as a required assignment to a Device group got this error message below.
What is the issue, I checked the VPP token its valid and the Iphone is online?
I get this same message on the Outlook app deployed as avaiable to a user group as a test.

An app update is available. Available apps can be updated using Company Portal and required apps will auto-update on device sync.
Suggested remediation
This code is returned when a VPP app is installed but there is a newer version available.

Hello I checked and the vpp token is active and the token automatic update is set and the VPP token location is set to United States.

@alouie-1590, After doing more research, I find some similar issue with VPP. In these cases, they are caused by the fact that when a VPP app is updated, there is a time lag between the time when the new app package is uploaded to App store and the time when the new app version is made available to Intune by Apple. As a result, devices with previous version of the app may experience delays in getting the new app .To check if our issue is with the same reason, I suggest to open a case to check the log in the background to see if the outlook version the device get is updated. do you have any links based on your research information on this, for the time lag do you mean the VPP new app it takes time to get to the App store and when its made avaviable and the device is still waiting for the updated version. Its strange kind of error message.
When you say open a case do you mean open a case and ask Microsoft tech to check on there backend to see if the device is getting updated with the latest version of Outlook and how long should I wait for the error message to go away and show its installed.

@alouie-1590, For our issue, based on my research, I find a similar issue occurs when the IOS devices with IOS Version lower than 13. Please check on the iOS version. If it is low, try to update to the latest one to see if the issue is fixed.

@alouie-1590, Thanks for the reply. From your description, I know the iOS version is already higher than 13. Then please check if the "Automatic app updates" is set as Yes in VPP token. Meanwhile, try to click on the tokenname in Connectors and tokens to see if it is still active.
